Congratulations to the bmibaby team for picking up the innovation in travel and leisure award from econsultancy last night! 

This is the result of the on-going myeurope Instagram campaign, which has seen 25,000+ pieces of user generated content being uploaded.

This is a phenomenal response rate for an online campaign, especially for one where users actively have to participate by creating, uploading and tagging an image.

The concept of the influencer is core to social media marketing.  

This is the idea that individuals on social networks, many with a reach stretching into the tens or hundreds of thousands, can shape brand perceptions for better or worse.   

But at the same time, brands want to know:  Who is an influencer, and prove to me that influencer A is more important than influencer B?

Gatwick scoops global social media award

Over the past eighteen months we’ve been fortunate enough to work with (London) Gatwick Airport, a client that really believes in integrating social media into their organisational DNA.
