In addition to the work we’ve been doing with Future Cinema, Rabbit is privileged to have been working for The Other Cinema to spread awareness and inspire debate around their La Haine project (detailed below).
As part of this we set up a live Twitter debate with Future Cinema founder Fabien and Broadwater Farm residents Isaac and Moses.
We also helped them to establish social profiles, generating content, spreading awareness amongst social influencers and taking on community management duties live reporting from the first event, a live screening on the Broadwater Farm Estate.
Over the past few weeks, Rabbit has been working for experiential cinema maestros Future Cinema. We were delighted to note that they recently received some of the recognition they so rightly deserved, as BBC News covered the Bugsy Malone event happening right now at London’s Troxy Theatre.

Today sees British Midland International (bmi) launch the first ever game of chance using the the hugely popular network Pinterest.
Users are invited to re-pin up to six images hosted on one of five boards for the chance to win flights to the bmi destination of their choice. Each week a new destination will be added, based on what the users want.
bmi have been expanding their social presence so far in 2012, currently running the #bmieditchallenge on Instagram, launching their first blog on Tumblr - with all content focused on social - and now an innovative use of Pinterest to inspire their passengers to travel!
We’re really excited to be involved, so head on over to bmi’s Pinterest page to play the bmi Pinterest Lottery!

As you will know if you follow our blog regularly, our favourite social network at the moment is Instagram.
We have been working with client, bmibaby, to create the world’s first Instameet exchange, which offers Instagramers groups chance to photograph beautiful sights in cities other than their own. The Instagramers community now spans 170+ cities worldwide (http://instagramers.com/cities/)
We’ve just started working with the NSPCC on an upcoming online campaign (we’ll reveal more later in the year). We’re thrilled to be associated with such an important charity that works every day to improve the lives of children in the UK.
For example the Metro newspaper is currently running a fundraising and awareness programme with the NSPCC highlighting the problem of of children suffering from sexual abuse and the need for increased therapeutic services.
They produced this infographic illustrating the statistics surrounding the scale of this problem and ways in which the NSPCC can help.

This week we were super excited to see that our client DoingSomething, who we advise on social media strategy, had made its way into the ‘going up’ section of the Grazia Barometer!

Last week our client Gatwick Airport said a warm wilkommen to Air Berlin, Europe’s sixth largest carrier and the latest airline to transfer services to Gatwick. From now on Air Berlin will fly twice daily from Gatwick to Nuremburg and Hanover.

Last Wednesday we picked up the econsultancy award for innovation in online customer services for Gatwick Airport.
We worked with Gatwick in bringing some of the changes happening at the airport to life using online tools (for example through giant mobile barcodes on construction hoardings) but what has really been key is Gatwick’s commitment to transparency – it sees public online feedback as a strength rather than as something to be hidden away or ignored as is still the case for a lot of brands.

A year after opening our doors we’ve had our first award win!
The work we did for Gatwick Airport has resulted in Gatwick getting the ‘innovation in online customer services’ accolade in the econsultancy Innovation Awards.
