Unless you’re a first time visitor to the site, you’ll know how enthusiastic we are about the mobile photo-sharing network Instagram, both personally and professionally.

As a result, we’re thrilled to support ‘My World Shared’, the UK’s first Instagram exhibition staged by Instragamers London.

Pics from the network are being exhibited at the East Gallery on Brick Lane (London) from 22-23 October.

If you are blogger or journalist and would like an invite to the preview on the 21st, email us - hello (at) therabbitagency.com

Update - My World Shared has since had coverage in Mashable and Metro to name a few!

The Rabbit Feed is changing!

The Rabbit Feed on Instagram

We’re going monthly and themeing it

When we opened our doors in early 2010, one of the 1st things we did was to put together a newsletter that would give anyone who wanted to receive it a social-media related digest of stats, links and commentary.

#miaitalia - bringing Italy to life x 1000`

Here at Rabbit, our love for Instagram is still growing.  Dirk Rabbit recently confessed on his blog that Instagram is the 1st social network he checks every day, and for a lot of us at Rabbit, it is the same.

After all looking at beautiful images is a nice way to come round each day isn’t it!?

Another advantage of Instagram is that you get to share as part of a community - it really is the definition of social - with enticing content that draws you in, shows you another person’s visual life-stream and makes you want to share and be a part of it too.

Plus it is fun and helps you to connect with your creative side!

Last week we announced we are using Instagram in partnership with a number of clients.   As part of that, we also launched the UK’s 1st airline Instagram promotion for bmibaby.

Having run for only one week, we are thrilled to share the news that #MiaItalia has received over 1000 entries so far.

The growth of Instagram - four employees manage four million users

At Rabbit, we’re huge fans of the mobile photo-sharing network Instagram (we’ve got our own feed - follow ‘rabbitagency’ if you are an Instagram user) - personally we really enjoy it, and we also see the massive potential that it has.

If you get the chance, check out these media pieces that shed some light onto why this is:

First of all, The Washington Post carries this Bloomberg video interview with Instagram boss Kevin Systrom.

Mac people vs PC people, 10 facts

Even though most Rabbits use macs at work, we’re pretty evenly divided when it comes to using macs or PCs at home.

As a result, we thought we’d finish off before the Easter weekend with ten facts about Mac People vs PC People.

The Rabbit Feed - sites we loved at SXSW

Every week we produce a newsletter, The Rabbit Feed, capturing social media trends, stats and news that caught our eye  (to subscribe and have it delivered by email, click here).

We’ve included the latest one below, which follows Bridey, Cat and Dirk’s visit to the SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin (Texas).

In it, we’ve highlighted various social networks, some newer than others, that we liked while out there.

A look at Beluga and GroupMe

(See update below, 2 March) If last year was the year when location based networking took off (or not depending on your POV), this year the trend is moving on to embrace so-called group messaging.

These are applications that allow you to run what are essentially private bulletin boards and chat rooms with friends or co-workers.   At Rabbit we’ve just signed up with the one, Beluga, that has got the stamp of approval from industry title Read Write Web.
