The Rabbit Feed is changing!

The Rabbit Feed on Instagram

We’re going monthly and themeing it

When we opened our doors in early 2010, one of the 1st things we did was to put together a newsletter that would give anyone who wanted to receive it a social-media related digest of stats, links and commentary.

Our initial subscriber base of 40 has grown to over 500 and we’ve had a stack of feedback in response to it - some suggesting improvements, but most of it very positive.

Last month we started sending out another - daily - newsletter, the Rabbitgram.

This is a list of 8-10 stories from the major social media news sites designed to give readers a quick overview of things happening in a constantly changing space.

This morning’s Rabbitgram for example included everything from how a tweet button on-site can increase the number of link mentions seven-fold, to the fact that ‘cyber loafing’ is good for productivity.   However a daily summary of links by and large makes a weekly or bi-weekly one redundant, which is why we’re changing it.

First of all we are going to make it monthly.   Secondly, we are turning it into a series of briefing guides around either one or a group of social networks.

We’ll send the guide out to our subscribers 1st, and then our designer Alex will turn it into a download available via our Scribd page (www.scribd.com/therabbitagency).

Together these will form the basis of a series of social media briefing guides.

To give you an example of what we have in mind, we’ve updated the Rabbit Feed we produced around Instagram at the end of June and posted it up with some updated stats (see above).

Feel free to download it from http://www.scribd.com/doc/64273852/The-Rabbit-Feed-on-Instagram  (or just email us and we’ll send it to you).

Next up?  The social food industry - Foodspotting, Forkly et al.   Look out for it early next week, if you want to subscribe add your name here - http://clicky.me/rabbitfeeed
